As a prelude to establishing Truth Labs, a national seminar was conducted at Hyderabad on 2nd October 2007 presided over by Hon'ble Justice M. Jagannadha Rao, Chairman, Law Commission of ndia and keynote address by Dr. Palle Rama Rao, Former Secretary, Dept. of S&T, GOI and Distinguished Scientist, DRDO. Truth Labs started in Bangalore commencing operations from its office centrally located in Manipal Centre after a formal inauguration by Justice MN Venkatachalaiah, Former Chief Justice, Supreme Court of India.
Spurred on the demand from the commercial capital of India, the 5th Regional Office of Truth Labs was opened in Mumbai, formally inaugurated in presence of eminent police officers and forensic scientists of the state.
Truth Labs organized a launch of Forensic Analytical Report on Piracy and Counterfeit Software: Emerging Risks and Threats to Public Safety and National Security, a Collaborative Project of Truth Labs &Microsoft, India at Delhi on 23rd July 2014. In combating tech based cyber crimes, Truth Labs has collaborated Microsoft to carry out nationwide awareness program as a part of capacity building exercise for the police officers of Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Tamil Nadu, Kerala, West Bengal, Delhi, NIA, NCRB, NICFS, Enforcement Directorate, Economic offences Wing.

Dr. Manjula Chellur, the then Chief Justice, Mumbai High Court inaugurating the Cyber Security workshop at Maharashtra Judicial Academy attended by more than 400 judicial and prosecution officers of Maharashtra state. TRUTH LABS being the first independent forensic science laboratory in India has successfully completed 14 years of service operating from six metropolitan cities, Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Bengaluru, Chennai and Hyderabad reporting over 15,000 cases referred by 6 High Courts, Sessions and Subordinate Courts of over 15 states, major Central Police Agencies & State Police organizations of over 18 states besides Central and State Govt. Depts., Banks, Insurance Companies, Lawyers & Law Firms, Corporates & MNCs and Common People from 25 states across the country. About 50 percent of the cases referred to Truth Labs come from Courts, Police, and Government Departments showing the reputation enjoyed by Truth Labs across India.
By virtue of the credibility of Truth Labs amongst the police, courts, government and other enforcement agencies, MoUs have been signed with the Govt. of NCT of Delhi and Govt. of Haryana through the respective State FSLs for examination and reporting of cases by the Experts of Truth Labs. The Home Department of Govt. of West Bengal have also issued orders for utilization of services of Truth Labs for DNA Profiling in a large number of cases involving unidentified dead bodies.
In view of the reliability and dependability of reports furnished by the experts of Truth Labs who have given expert testimony in more than 6,000 cases in courts across the country, Circulars and Standing Orders were issued by the DGP, Karnataka, Commissioners of Police, Delhi and Kolkata besides the High Court of Andhra Pradesh, advising the concerned police
and judicial officers to approach Truth Labs and based on which thousands of cases have been received and reported.
Even during the COVID-19 lockdown period, Truth Labs has undertaken examination of several cases and successfully analyzed and furnished reports through FORENSIC ON-LINE SERVICES.
Truth Labs currently offers forensic services supplementing the services of Central and State FSL’s offering quality forensic services in a prompt manner with professional excellence to the complete satisfaction of people and Government agencies.

for the past ten years more than 5,000 cases have been successfully reported by Truth Labs besides other urgent, important and sensitive cases.
MoUs have also been signed with Microsoft for undertaking research, training and analysis involving Cyber Forensics and other computer related research and training programs besides starting with a PG Diploma Course in Criminal Justice & Forensic Science at University of Hyderabad in 2009, Banaras Hindu University in 2014 for Master Degree Course in Forensic Science and now introduced PG Diploma Course in Criminology, Criminal Law and Forensic Science at NALSAR in 2019 and with ICFAI Law University in 2021 for both academic courses and short-term training modules.
Also, a large number of training courses have been conducted in the State Police Academies, State Judicial Academies, National Private and Foreign Banks and National Insurance Academy and companies like HAL, Bangalore for more than 3000 judicial, police, bank, insurance and other officers from Kashmir to Kanyakumari. MOUs also signed with CCMB, IICT, BPR&D, etc. for undertaking scientific analysis and organizing training programs.
During the last 14 years, Truth Labs has offered a wide range of forensic services such as examination of Questioned Documents, Fingerprints, DNA Analysis, Cyber Forensics, Multimedia Forensics, Polygraph, Incident Investigations, Investigation of Financial Frauds and Suspicious Insurance Claims etc., in more than 15,000 cases referred by various agencies which includes

All the Experts of Truth Labs were the Former Directors / Heads of Departments of various Central and State FSLs in India. As such they were all recruited, trained, recognized, accredited as legally valid experts as per Section 45 of Indian Evidence Act and 293 Cr.P.C. All of them even after retirement continue to get summons from the courts all over India to give expert testimony relating to the opinions given while in service and as such they continue to be legally valid experts whose opinions are admissible in the courts of law. Therefore, the opinions given by these experts in the present capacity as experts of Truth Labs are valid and admissible in the courts of law and hence many courts across the country are referring the cases and calling them for deposing their expert testimony. All these Experts have rendered expert testimony in more than 5000 cases across India in last 14 years in the High Courts, Tribunals, Courts of CBI, Military, DRT and Sessions and Subordinate Courts more than 20 States in India, Special Court, CBI Delhi as well as Metropolitan Court London, and Supreme Court of Malaysia, Kuala Lumpur.
